Four Weddings in a Row… What a Week! 💕

As a wedding photographer in Ayrshire, I usually like to space out my bookings so I can give each couple’s big day the time, love and attention it truly deserves. But sometimes, the diary fills up in unexpected ways—and when the rest of the month is quieter, you’ve just got to go for it.

So, four weddings in a row it was! 😅 Not something I’d normally do, but with my perimenopausal brain and slightly creaky back in tow, I powered through—and you know what? It actually went far better than expected! I only muddled a couple of names (which is a win in my book), and my back held up like a champ.

Each wedding was completely different, which I absolutely loved. From big celebrations to more intimate gatherings, I travelled across Ayr, Kilmarnock, Prestwick and Stranraer—capturing the love stories of four amazing couples. That’s the beauty of my job: no two weddings are ever the same, and I’m so lucky to work with such lovely people who make my job genuinely enjoyable. Lots of laughs, natural moments, and memories I’ll never forget.

Safe to say, I’m absolutely shattered now—but it was totally worth it. That said, four in a row won’t be a regular thing!

A wee reminder: I only take on a limited number of weddings each month. That way, I can stay true to my approach of relaxed, natural wedding photography, and make sure you get your gallery back in a good timeframe—with all the joy, emotion and details of your day captured beautifully.
